Barrington is a town that cares about its needy citizens, and parents and teachers do a good job of passing those values on to our youth. Students at Avon and Woodland schools were recently asked to bring in donations of food items to be distributed by the A.B.L.E Group. They responded with a wealth of tuna, cereal, and peanut butter that will be given out prior to Christmas. Boy Scout Troop #96 pitched in, also, donating all the food they collected on Scouting For Food day. Thanks to all, and to the adults who helped, too!
