Bell Avenue Jughandle closure

Bell Avenue Jughandle closure

White Horse Pike (N.J.S.H. 30) Redevelopment Project

Borough of Barrington, Camden County, New Jersey

The Borough’s Redeveloper has broken ground on the Redevelopment Project on the White Horse Pike. The project includes the widening of the White Horse Pike and installation of a traffic signal at Bell Avenue. In order for the improvements to be constructed, the existing jug-handle must be closed. The median opening will also be closed and left-hand turns from Bell Avenue will be restricted.

The contractor, Robert T. Winzinger, Inc. of Hainesport, New Jersey, anticipates closing the jug-handle on Monday, May 11, 2015. The contractor anticipates improvements to be completed in September 2015.

Your patience and cooperation during the time of construction is requested and sincerely appreciated. We are confident that the completed project/traffic signal will more than compensate for the inconveniences you may experience during the period of construction.

If you have any questions or comments, please call the Borough Hall at 856-547-0706.
