COUNCIL PRESIDENT MICHAEL BEACH
mbeach@barringtonboro.com

Mike moved to Barrington with his wife, Sharon, and two children, Kaylin & Mason, in 2013. His brother Shane also lives in town next door with his wife Valerie and children Brayden and Brooklyn. There’s nothing he enjoys more than being with his family fishing, crabbing, playing sports and doing just about anything outdoors. Professionally, Mike is a proud member of IBEW Local 351. Being involved in a skilled trade has allowed him to provide many services to our sports organizations as well as other volunteer groups such as Habitat for Humanity.   In 2016, Mike became a member of Council and joined the Planning and Zoning Board. He became Council President in 2021, 2022 and again in 2024. During his 7 years on the Governing Body, he held positions on many different committees, boards, and organizations throughout the Borough. Whether coaching sports or helping a resident with an issue, seeing the smile on someone’s face when helping them out inspires him to stay dedicated to his work. He is looking forward to serving our community for many years to come.
