IMPORTANT – Recycling info for Borough of Barrington

Trash and recycling haulers across New Jersey have been affected by staff shortages, resulting in late pickups in many NJ communities.

To minimize disruption of trash/recycling in Barrington, recycling may be collected by Public Works employees on Thursdays for the near future. Any recycling not collected on Thursdays will be collected on Fridays. Our regular trash hauler will be collecting trash on Fridays. If your recycling is not collected on Thursdays, please leave it out and it will be collected on Fridays by Public Works. Be sure to keep your trash and recycling separated so it is easy for employees to distinguish between the two.
