Parks & Fields

Barrington is home to some magnificent parks and ball fields! If you are interested in utilizing a pavilion for meeting/party space or would like to use one of our ball fields for a tournament or event, please email Mayor Kyle Hanson who serves as the Director of Parks & Recreation at mayor@barringtonboro.com

Barrington’s Public Parks:

Wish Upon a Star Park located at 490 Reading Ave is the most popular park in our community and was just completely redone in 2020. The playground is one of only two fully handicap accessible parks in Camden County. The site also features multiple basketball courts and small public pavilion. Attached to the park are the Barrington Softball fields and clubhouse so there’s a lot of room to run around!

Lost World Park is a hidden gem nestled back in the neighborhood of “Stoneybrook” on Timber Drive. There we have a small playground for younger children, a large public pavilion with outdoor seating, a full enclosed dog park and basketball courts. The playground area itself will soon be getting re-done!

The Tot Lot is a fully enclosed playground area located directly behind the Borough Hall building. The playground was designed for toddler and pre-school aged children. In fact, the Barrington Pre-K utilizes this park whenever the weather is nice enough to get the kids out!

Barrington is also home to a few different sports fields. Our Softball fields and clubhouse are located on Moore Ave and are connected to Wish Upon a Star Park. Our Little League fields and clubhouse are located on Shreve Ave. Our Soccer & Woodland Warriors baseball field, Deere Field, and clubhouse are located right on Clements Bridge Road.

Be advised that Barrington has an ordinance prohibiting smoking in public places.  This includes parks and recreational facilities.  To view the full ordinance, click here.
